Cleveland Clinic, a leading healthcare provider, seeks a highly motivated Research Scientist to join its Biomedical Engineering Department. The successful candidate will have a PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant area and a strong background in microdevice development.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, including wireless implantable medical sensor development and studying physiological functions. As a member of the team, you will design and develop custom electronic devices, analyze data, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing independent research projects with a focus on data generation, analysis, and interpretation
  • Developing and debugging custom electronic devices
  • Collaborating with investigators and engineers to advance research goals

To be considered, candidates must have:

  • A PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant field
  • Experience in microdevice development and design
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C++, Matlab, Labview)

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This estimate is based on industry standards for similar positions in the Cleveland, OH area.
