Key Responsibilities- Assist engineer teams in various tasks and duties, including research, development, and design of projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documents as assigned, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and apply geometric and algebraic principles to solve problems.
- Organize information for use in drawings or other documents, showcasing attention to detail and accuracy.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, including geometric and algebraic concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering program, with a strong focus on transportation and infrastructure.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, with a solid understanding of introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
