We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Perioperative Department at Desert Valley Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality surgical services.
Responsibilities- Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist, directing and guiding OR Technicians and other personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to provide a continuum of care and contribute to continuous, quality patient care, efficient patient flow, and unit maintenance and organization.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services to ensure adherence to regulations, standards, and hospital or unit policies and procedures.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
- Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $47.25 to $75.60. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
