Position Overview

We are seeking a Cagewash Technician I to contribute to our operations. In this role, you will be tasked with the thorough cleaning, upkeep, and repair of animal cagewash equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to established operating procedures and quality control standards
  • Conduct regular maintenance on cagewash systems and autoclaves
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of animal holding areas
  • Assist in the receipt, stocking, and management of inventory supplies
  • Participate in the care and husbandry of various animal species

Qualifications:

The essential qualifications for the Cagewash Technician I role include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with cleaning agents and disinfectants
  • Prior experience in cagewash operations is preferred
  • Must achieve Assistant Lab Animal Technician Certification within one year

Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $18.50, subject to variation based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7AM-3:30PM. Availability for weekends and holidays may be necessary.
