Job Title: Senior Manager QC

Bristol Myers Squibb is a leading biopharmaceutical company that is committed to making a difference in the lives of patients. As a Senior Manager QC, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities related to sample management, lab support, and e-System business ownership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a daily work plan for the QC teams.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop exceptional QC personnel.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in QC laboratories, processes, and/or systems that could negatively impact lab operations and QC performance.
  • Ensure QC testing is performed within established turnaround time targets, using scheduling systems and tools.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Quality Control systems and processes that are technically sound, promote effective and efficient operations, and comply with cGMP requirements.
Requirements:
  • BS in a scientific discipline.
  • 10+ year of regulated industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years leadership experiences including the management of direct reports.
  • Strong working knowledge of cGMP regulations and Regulatory Agency requirements applicable to biologics and cell therapy manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading exceptional teams.
  • Ability to apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Risk Management concepts and tools.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills as well as sound judgment, with the ability to work effectively with others.
