Job Summary

The Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated EMT-B to join our team. As an EMT-B, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Requirements
  • Current EMT-B licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current Georgia Driver's license
  • No more than 2 traffic violations within the last 36 months
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
Working Environment

The EMT-B will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls in a variety of settings. The EMT-B will be required to work in inclement weather and potentially hazardous conditions. The EMT-B will also be required to maintain a high level of physical fitness and be able to lift and move patients as needed.
