Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated EMT-B to join our team at Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service. As an EMT-B, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care in accordance with company policies, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Complete required documentation and submit reports as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
  • Possess and maintain current EMT-B licensure.
  • Possess and maintain current BLS certification.
  • Possess and maintain a current Georgia Driver's license.
  • No more than 2 traffic violations within the last 36 months.
  • Drivers must be at least 19 years of age.
Working Environment

As an EMT-B, you will be exposed to various weather conditions, potential hazardous situations, and diseases. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing deadlines.

Physical Abilities
  • Regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand and walk.
  • Required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 180 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 300 pounds with assistance from others.
