Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests for a system.
  • Research requirements for a product, including CNO deployment environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.
  • Develop and maintain software applications using Python and XML.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software standards are met.
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new requirements, or improve performance.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
  • Perform quality control on team products.
  • Coordinate and perform software deployments for developed products.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or University.
  • 7 years of programming required (with a bachelor's degree) or, in lieu of a degree, 11 years of programming experience.
  • Experience with Python, build environments such as Gradle or Maven, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and Software Version Control.
  • Familiarity with CNO environment and agile software development methodology.
  • Knowledge of XML or XSLT.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Subversion/GIT experience.
  • Atlassian Tools (Confluence, Jira, Bamboo, Crucible).
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Active and current TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers.
