As a Cyber Research and Development Specialist, you'll be part of a diverse team of elite professionals working on challenging problems and innovative solutions in offensive and defensive cybersecurity.

We're seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Embedded CNO Developer to join our team in Maryland. In this role, you'll leverage your understanding of computer hardware, real-time systems, and peripherals to perform Cyber research and development. Your expertise in C, C++, Assembly, and Python for RISC and/or non-RISC architectures will be invaluable in developing impactful mission tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Work in an Agile environment to develop impactful mission tools
  • Contribute to research, software engineering, and networking efforts
  • Support unit, component, and system test activities
  • Contribute to readiness reviews and product release cycles
Requirements:
  • Experience in system level programming or developing for embedded systems
  • Development experience using C/C++ for x86, PowerPC, MIPS, or ARM
  • Experience in network programming
  • Experience reverse engineering using Ghidra, IDA Pro, or Binary Ninja
  • Familiarity with basic VLAN/VPN/NAT concepts
  • Familiarity using signal analysis tools such as Wireshark
  • Scripting experience using Python, Ruby, or JavaScript
  • Comfortable developing in the Linux operating system
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering plus 4 or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CNO capability development experience
  • Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experience
  • Proficiency in low-level internals in one or more technology areas (e.g. Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices)
  • Understand assembly programming concepts
  • Unit Test experience
  • Experience using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible)
  • Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure
  • Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
