Position Overview:
As the Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for conducting independent and objective assessments of the company's operational and compliance activities.
Your role will involve evaluating both Business Operations and Corporate functional controls, focusing on risk management and compliance governance.
You should possess a solid understanding of the International Standards for Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, the COSO internal control framework, enterprise risk assessment, and operational auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate risk assessments, develop testing plans, and execute and document testing procedures.
- Create comprehensive reports to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Engage in various tasks and projects that support the internal audit team and corporate goals, including business process enhancements and operational audit project planning and execution.
- Exhibit strong technical and analytical skills to comprehend business processes, assess associated risks, devise testing strategies, and recommend solutions.
- Oversee daily operations for a team of auditors based in India.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Internal Audit.
- Preferred certifications include CPA, CA, CIA, or equivalent.
- Thorough knowledge of Financial Services regulatory and supervisory requirements.
- Experience with external supervisory entities, such as the CFPB, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with project management best practices.
- Strong grasp of the International Standards for Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
- Experience in a Fintech or Mortgage Company is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous personal and team development.
- Outstanding analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders across various cultures and time zones is beneficial.
- Familiarity with systems such as NetSuite, Workday, SOXHub, or other SOX testing platforms, as well as analytical tools, is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, maintaining effective communication with management and stakeholders.
