Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to work in our Sterile Processing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing medical instruments and equipment for use in the operating room.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process medical instruments and equipment for use in the operating room
  • Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stored
  • Maintain accurate records of instrument and equipment usage and maintenance
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the Sterile Processing department
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in Sterile Processing or a related field
  • IAHCSMM/HSPA certification
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
