We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Design Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a Senior Piping Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing piping diagrams and designs in 3D and 2D AutoCad, as well as designing specs of piping systems and ensuring they are NAVSEA compliant in Navis, ShipConstructor, and AutoCad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design piping diagrams and designs in 3D and 2D AutoCad
  • Design specs of piping systems and ensure NAVSEA compliance
  • Work with Senior 3D Checker to ensure drawings meet Navy Specs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with piping design on ships
  • ShipConstructor or Navis software experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Excel
  • Associate degree in an Engineering concentration
