KA Recruiting Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in the Syracuse, New York area.

We are offering a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, life insurance, and 401(k) matching.

About the Job

This full-time position involves working with various laboratory instruments and equipment to prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in histology and be certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).

The successful candidate will also hold a valid New York State license as a technologist or technician and possess a minimum Associate Degree in Science. Experience in histology is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination using various laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and patient information
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff members to ensure efficient and effective lab operations
