Data Center Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team at Rhodium Shared Services LLC. As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in monitoring and responding to infrastructure problems, maintaining the cleanliness of our site operations, and performing routine cleaning tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and identify infrastructure failures; respond by following necessary protocols and escalate to management appropriately.
- Complete daily visual inspections and reporting.
- Ensure proper care and handling in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Work cross-functionally with the inventory team to ensure all cleaning, maintenance, and operational supplies are stocked.
- Perform routine cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.
- Interact respectfully with all external vendors/partners/subcontractors.
- Operate equipment, including but not limited to floor sweeper, floor scrubber, forklift, and scissor lift.
- Maintain working knowledge of infrastructure, data center operations, and cleaning methods.
- Comply with all safety requirements, including OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Prior technical or construction/laborer experience preferred.
- Mechanically inclined – has an aptitude for mechanical systems and components.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Must be able to perform physical labor, often in high-heat situations.
- Effective problem-solving skills, communication, and results-oriented.
