  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare food menu items for a combination of buffet, family style, and plated service, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Event Staff Supervision: Assist with on-site catering staff supervision during events, ensuring that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and are performing to the highest standards.
  • Menu Item Preparation: Assist in the preparation of menu items for client tasting dates, ensuring that all items are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Event Staff Scheduling: Assist in the scheduling of event staff, ensuring that all staff members are aware of their schedules and are able to perform their duties to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the kitchen area through a combination of daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
  • Waste Reduction and Spoilage: Adhere to procedures to reduce waste and spoilage, ensuring that all food and materials are used efficiently.
  • Client Meetings: May be required to meet with clients to determine specific catering needs, ensuring that all clients are satisfied with the services provided.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory systems for food and equipment, ensuring that all items are accurately recorded and that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Delivery and Receiving: Assist in placing and receiving food, paper, chemical, and rental delivery orders, ensuring that all items are accurately received and stored.
  • Site-Specific Procedures: Work with park staff to maintain site-specific catering and communication procedures, ensuring that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and are performing to the highest standards.
  • Health Department Standards: Ensure that catered events operate in accordance with local health department standards, ensuring that all food and materials are handled and prepared to the highest standards.
  • Event Revenue and Expenses: Assist with tracking individual event revenues and expenses, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all ABC regulations and inventory requirements, ensuring that all food and materials are handled and prepared in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration with Outside Caterers: Work with outside caterers when necessary, ensuring that all services are provided to the highest standards.
  • Emergency Response Procedures: Knowledge of emergency response procedures, ensuring that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities in the event of an emergency.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out additional duties as assigned by Management Staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Menu Preparation: Ability to prepare and execute a high-end wedding menu.
  • Food Service Experience: Working knowledge of and experience in the operation of food service facilities, including knowledge of commercial cooking equipment.
  • Sanitation Standards: Working knowledge of current sanitation standards and ability to adhere to these standards.
  • Physical Demands: Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including ability to lift 50lbs, stooping, and bending.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of computers.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Exhibit good communication and customer service skills.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variable work schedule, which may include early and late hours, and weekends and holidays.
  • Custodial and Cleaning Tasks: Ability to perform a variety of duties, including custodial and cleaning tasks.
  • Driver's License: Possession of or ability to obtain and maintain a driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possession of or ability to obtain necessary licenses or certifications, including but not limited to ServSafe and TIPs Alcohol certifications.
