End User Support Specialist

The Role
This role is focused on delivering technology assistance to end-users across various Fidelity locations. Responsibilities include managing devices such as computers, monitors, printers, telephones, and audio/visual systems. The primary function involves desktop support and addressing issues that cannot be resolved remotely. Troubleshooting tasks encompass, but are not limited to, Microsoft Operating Systems, MS Office applications, and a variety of both external and internal applications. Experience in large-scale environments and desktop deployment is advantageous.
- Computer Setup – maintain an inventory of computers configured with our standard image.
- Device Deployment – distribute computers to end-users, ensuring the transfer of all applications and data to the new device.
- Adhere to critical Service Level Agreements by executing support requests promptly and accurately through our ticketing systems.
- Follow established reporting and escalation protocols.
- Collaborate closely with regional technical support teams and operational groups to ensure successful fulfillment of customer requests and projects.
- Work alongside both technical and non-technical personnel to effectively navigate requests.
- Undertake special assignments and additional duties as required by management.
Education and Experience
- Associate's Degree and/or 2-3 years of experience with computer hardware and operating systems.
- A+ certification is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of Windows Operating Systems and Client Hardware.
- Ability to thrive in a controlled change environment.
- Exceptional analytical and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with clients and other teams.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Independent thinking to achieve objectives based on requirements.
- A proactive individual with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of planning, coordinating, prioritizing, and multitasking.

Enterprise Infrastructure - Fidelity Techworks Field Services provides support for internal desktops, laptops, telephones, AV rooms, and more across the Fidelity Investments organization.
Dynamic Working
At Fidelity TalentSource, we aim for most employees to work flexibly, balancing personal and business needs through a hybrid working model. Most associates will have a hybrid schedule, requiring onsite work at a Fidelity location for a designated period every four weeks. These requirements may be subject to change.
