Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Diley Ridge Medical Center. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to adults. This includes assessing patients' respiratory status, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education to patients and families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Current Ohio Respiratory Professional License.
  • Current National Board Respiratory Credential.
  • Experience in adult and pediatric respiratory therapy procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
