Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Covenant Hobbs Hospital. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering questions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Course study in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent education/experience
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Registered Technologist - Sonography
- New Mexico Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program License (if practicing in this state)
- 1 year experience as an Ultrasonographer
