Job Overview

M RG Exams is a leader and premier service provider of independent medical examinations seeking an experienced Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams on United States Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process. This role requires reviewing medical health records through a secure Web Portal, performing thorough eye exams, and completing forms via the Web Portal.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams on United States Veterans
  • Review medical health records through a secure Web Portal
  • Complete forms via the Web Portal
  • Not responsible for making determinations, the VA makes all determinations

Requirements

To excel in this role, we seek an Optometrist who:

  • Is interested in performing comprehensive eye exam assessments versus traditional patient care and treatment
  • Can analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete forms and provide medical opinions
  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA

Estimated Salary

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role.
