Principal Infrastructure Engineer at Evenbreak

Evenbreak is in search of a skilled Principal Infrastructure Engineer to enhance our technological capabilities. This position is centered around the migration of our global media supply chain from traditional on-premises systems to advanced cloud solutions. The successful candidate will possess extensive expertise in AWS, particularly in its essential compute, storage, and microservices functionalities. A background in broadcasting is advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigating and deploying future-oriented solutions to optimize the cloud infrastructure framework
  • Guaranteeing the provision of highly secure cloud-based solutions
  • Designing robust AWS-centric solutions that consider potential technology disruptions
  • Developing reusable CloudFormation templates and Terraform modules
  • Collaborating with various infrastructure teams to establish standards and protocols
  • Executing security measures in collaboration with InfoSec and Cloud Architecture teams
  • Assessing emerging technologies and creating documentation and standards for their implementation
Essential Qualifications:
  • Over 5 years of experience with AWS, LINUX, and WINDOWS
  • Expertise in applying security protocols and ensuring compliance
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages including CloudFormation, Terraform, and others
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with AWS Transit Gateway and Aviatrix Cloud Network Platform or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS security practices, including security groups and NACLs
  • Experience with Palo Alto Firewall Administration in AWS settings
  • Understanding of AWS Direct Connect and VPC configurations
