Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Manager to join our expanding internal tax team within the Finance Business Unit. This role will be integral to the partner tax services team, reporting directly to the Partner Tax Services Assistant Director. The Partner Tax Services team is dedicated to assisting all U.S. Crowe Partners (both active and retired) with their personal tax needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct technical reviews of individual tax returns, with limited preparation as necessary.
  • Support the Partner Tax Services Assistant Director in training, onboarding, and enhancing processes.
  • Mentor and develop the Partner Tax Services Senior Associate team members.
  • Assist in managing the workflow of the partner tax return process.
  • Collaborate with other preparers and reviewers to establish best practices.
  • Engage in direct communication with Partners (clients).
  • Oversee a group email inbox for general inquiries related to partner tax compliance.
  • Address any additional tax-related tasks as assigned by management, such as tax liability and cash flow projections.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in individual taxation.
  • In-depth understanding of partnership tax treatment concerning individual taxes.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong familiarity with CCH Axcess tax preparation software.
  • Proficient in CTC (Crowe Tax Connect).
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks effectively.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team, maintaining a positive attitude.
