Job Title: Senior Epic Application Analyst

The Senior Epic Application Analyst is a key member of our healthcare IT team, responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Epic applications within our healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and participate in the implementation and configuration of Epic applications based on organizational needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful integration and deployment of Epic modules.
  • Provide regular updates to managers on project statuses, issues, and risks.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align Epic initiatives with the organization's overall IT strategy.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of Epic applications among team members, including proficiency in relevant modules.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues related to Epic applications, ensuring minimal impact on daily operations.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on Epic configurations to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • BA/BA required with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience or 5 years of relevant work experience in healthcare.
  • Epic certification in one or more relevant modules.
  • Several years of experience working with Epic applications, with a focus on implementation, optimization, and support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience and ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work on rotational after-hours and Saturdays as needed.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology (JIRA) ticketing system (preferred).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and best practices.
Language:

Ability to read and write English fluently is required. Fluency in other languages is an asset.
