Associate Professor of School Psychology

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Associate Professor of School Psychology to join our faculty at Texas Woman's University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, conducting research, and serving as an advisor within our Doctoral (APA-accredited and NASP-approved) and Specialist (NASP-accredited) programs in School Psychology.
The ideal candidate will have a strong publication and presentation record, as well as experience in program leadership duties, specifically as Program Coordinator of our Specialist in School Psychology program or Practicum and Internship Coordinator. They will also have an interest in our assessment sequence (e.g. cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, social-emotional) or our practice sequence (e.g., therapeutic and crisis intervention, multicultural psychology, practicum/internship).
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain data, field inquiries, and other administration responsibilities related to the program, as well as work collaboratively with the program coordinator of the School Psychology PhD program. They will also be responsible for teaching graduate courses, advising students, and contributing to the development of the School Psychology program.
The minimum qualifications for the position include a doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D., etc.) in School Psychology from an APA-accredited Doctoral program at the time of application. The candidate must also have at least 3 years of experience as a tenure-track faculty member in a School Psychology program and be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist or as a school psychologist in Texas.
