Warranty Administrator Job Description

At Cutrubus Wasatch Front Kia Isuzu Hino Truck Winneb, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warranty repair orders and claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, submit, and track warranty repair orders and claims.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of warranty-related tasks to facilitate proper credit and payment.
  • Return incomplete or improperly completed repair orders to the originating personnel for correction and completion.
  • Determine and enter applicable labor operation codes, failure codes, and administrative data on repair orders.
  • Book technicians for earned hours and up-flag and back-flag adjustments as necessary.
  • Process warranty claims in a timely manner upon repair order closure.
  • Review and process returned, rejected, or adjusted warranty claims, tracking each claim until final resolution.
  • Contact warranty claims representatives for additional authorization or special assistance.
  • Maintain records of submitted, returned, or paid claims and their current status.
  • Become familiar with manufacturer policies and procedures.
  • Post claim payments and reconcile warranty schedules.
  • Assist with other office duties as needed.
