**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Crisis Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Families Forward/Emergency Services in Lansing, Michigan. As a key member of our crisis intervention team, you will provide critical services to youth and their families in the community, emergency rooms, and other locations.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide crisis intervention services, screenings for psychiatric hospitalizations, and intake assessments for youth and their families.
  • Collaborate with schools, police officers, and other community providers to provide behavioral health stabilization.
  • Recommend referrals to Families Forward programs and services in the community.
  • Consult with service providers and conduct case documentation.
  • Assess strengths and formulate dispositions with families, including extensive safety planning.
  • Answer the crisis line and provide verbal de-escalation and triage over the phone.

**Requirements:**

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • State of Michigan credential and one year of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of children and adolescents with Severe Emotional Disturbance and their families.
  • Ability to communicate accurately and effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Candidate must be able to work well with others and possess a valid Michigan driver's license and reliable means of transportation.

**Salary and Benefits:**

$64,313 - $72,384 annually with scheduled annual increases, resulting in a maximum salary of $82,929. 40 hours per week, 11pm-11am rotating two-week schedule.
