Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant/MedTech - PRN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant/MedTech to join our team at Taylor House A Thrive More Community. As a PRN CNA/Medtech, you will provide high-quality care to our patients, assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, and mobility support.

Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist patients with personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Medication Administration: Help clients take prescribed medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Mobility Support: Assist patients with ambulation, including walking and transferring.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing patient living areas.
  • Emergency Response: Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency, such as falls or medical emergencies.
  • Activities of Daily Living: Assist patients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and physical therapy exercises.

Qualifications:

  • Compassionate Caregiver: Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
  • Reliable Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day.
  • Compassionate Manner: Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • Availability: Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
  • Healthcare Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year).
  • Health and Safety: Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program.
  • Medtech Certification: MUST be willing to obtain Medtech Certification, if do not currently have it, shortly after hire.

Schedule:

  • Shift: 3rd shift (6:30pm-7am)
  • PRN: Part-time, as needed.
