Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Niemann Foods. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Pharmacists with filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Receive and store incoming supplies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Count and record inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels
  • Process insurance claims and understand Medicare regulations
  • Translate prescriptions into our computer system for pharmacist approval
  • Input prescription orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist in completing and updating medication profiles for patients
  • Maintain accurate dispensing records and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, including physicians, pharmacists, and vendors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months of related experience or training
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
