This entry-level position offers a chance to gain hands-on experience working on water resources projects. As a Pump Maintenance Technician, you will provide essential support to operators, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery. Your responsibilities will include assisting with pump installations, operating trucks, backhoes, forklifts, generators, engines, pumps, and other types of equipment. You will work closely with a crew, but also have the opportunity to work independently, taking charge of tasks as required.

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Clean driving record and ability to obtain a minimum Class B (preferably Class A) CDL
  • Experience in outdoor construction or related fields preferred
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Able to pass a drug screen (DOT level) and physical examination
  • Must be able to travel overnight and work away from home for up to 2 weeks
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends, while on a hitch
  • Dependability, reliability, honesty, and trustworthiness are essential
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
