Key Responsibilities
  • Primary Care Provider: Serve as the primary care provider for a panel of patients, delivering high-quality medical care and ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
  • Supervision and Mentorship: Supervise pediatric residents in our Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) practice, providing guidance and mentorship to help them develop their clinical skills.
  • Practice Development: Develop and build a pediatric practice, staying current with the latest general pediatric literature and best practices.
  • Academic Mission: Participate in the academic mission of the Department of Pediatrics, contributing to the development of educational programs and research initiatives.
  • Research and Publication: Publish at least once a year in a reputable journal or other academic outlet, and mentor residents in presenting their research findings.
  • Quality Improvement: Develop and participate in quality improvement projects, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.
  • Administrative Responsibilities: Maintain a valid Florida medical license, DEA license, and participate in marketing opportunities as determined by the division director.
