Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Server to join our team at Pizza Inn - Clairday Foods, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Guest Service: Greet guests, present menus, and inform them of specials and menu changes.
  2. Food and Beverage Service: Take food orders, relay to kitchen staff, prepare and deliver beverage orders, and serve courses promptly.
  3. Order Processing: Process guest orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis.
  4. Communication: Communicate with other employees to ensure guest satisfaction with food and service.
  5. Phone and Cash Handling: Answer the phone, take orders, and handle cash transactions.
  6. Restaurant Maintenance: Maintain a neat and orderly dining area, assist with stocking workstations, bussing tables, and resetting tables.
  7. Teamwork: Assist with other areas of the restaurant as needed and help with keeping bathrooms clean.
  8. Accountability: Complete opening and closing checklists and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Entry-level position.
  2. One year of restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
Skills and Characteristics
  1. Must be organized, flexible, and detail-oriented.
  2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Must be customer-sensitive and possess a sense of timing.
  4. Must be pleasant, personable, and friendly.
  5. Must understand and have a sense of urgency.
Physical Demands

Must be able to stand for long periods, have a good sense of balance, bend, and kneel, and lift bus pans and trays weighing up to 20 pounds.
