Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our Engine Assembly department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in bringing our engines to life by assembling critical components, including pumps, turbos, fuel systems, and air intake systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical assembly activities to required tolerances and specifications in the Top End department.
  • Assemble components for diesel engines meticulously, following detailed blueprints, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of production, on schedule and within budget.
  • Follow all processes according to our standard work manuals.
  • Operate various hand, impact, vibrating, torqueing, and power tools.
  • Work on a team to meet internal and external customer demand.
Qualifications
  • Prior mechanics or mechanical assembly experience is required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are essential.
  • Prefer assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Someone who enjoys working with hands, tools, and solving problems.
  • Prior experience building, maintaining, or fixing diesel engines is a plus.
  • Previous experience operating hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow work orders, blueprints, or schematics.
Work Environment

Our fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting requires a team player who can work in a loud, hot, and humid environment. PPE is required on the manufacturing floor at all times.
