Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sonic Driller to join our team at Specialty Drilling Holding Co. As a Sonic Driller, you will be responsible for performing routine to difficult sonic drilling, sampling, and well installation tasks, as well as supervising driller's assistants and coordinating with various staff professionals and client field representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sonic and rotary drilling, sampling, and well installation operations, recording pertinent information relative to field activities and work performed.
  • Direct the work of subordinates related to field activities, ensuring compliance with corporate safety policy.
  • Collect drilling data and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
  • Prepare daily field reports and communicate equipment and personnel needs to supervisor on a daily basis.
  • Interact with client's field representatives to report work completed and to resolve problems in the field.
  • Direct and assist drill crew with site mobilization, materials handling, and decontamination of equipment.
Requirements
  • Five years of experience in the drilling field, with three years of lead sonic driller experience.
  • Class A CDL.
