We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deli/Bakery Department Associate to join our team at RM Advisory Services LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our deli/bakery department meets the highest standards of quality and freshness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, answering customer questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain stock levels in the deli/bakery department, ensuring that all products are fresh and properly displayed.
- Prepare and merchandise deli/bakery items according to company policy, including cakes, pies, cupcakes, and decorated cookies.
- Inspect quality of items in displays, cases, and shelves, removing out-of-date, spoiled, or stale items.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, including the register, equipment, and utensils.
- Learn and perform the duties of similar positions in other departments as required.
- High School diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled in high school or GED program.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to obtain evidence of food safety certification.
- Ability to demonstrate basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
