Job Title: Mobile Speed Enforcement Specialist

Verra Mobility is a global leader in smart mobility, developing technology-enabled solutions to help the world move safely and easily. We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Speed Enforcement Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Mobile Speed Enforcement Specialist will drive and deploy Automated Speed Enforcement System (ASES) to scheduled deployment sites. The incumbent will set up, spot check, and take down enforcement units and supporting signage/equipment, ensuring accuracy of court deployment forms with deployment data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy assigned enforcement units to assigned deployment sites, requiring local travel within the jurisdiction or travel within the state for drivers assigned within the AWZSE program.
  • Set up and take down enforcement systems and supporting equipment, monitoring weather and lighting conditions and making camera adjustments as necessary.
  • Communicate with the Network Operations Center/Verra Command Center (NOC/VCC), supervisor, team leads, and other operators to ensure accurate information is relayed in a timely manner.
  • Complete court deployment forms accurately with necessary and/or required deployment data, logging and reporting any equipment-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Process events for both red-light and speed events using web-based tools, open, scan, and process inbound customer correspondence, and perform clerical and administrative duties.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Successful completion of the Nlets fingerprinting background assessment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work day or night shifts, including weekend shifts, as assigned
  • Basic understanding of laptop/computer usage, solid data entry experience, and ability to work as a team member and individually
