Job Summary

The Associate Provost of Student Affairs provides strategic leadership for the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Student Affairs initiatives. This role requires collaboration with the Provost, President, and Academic and Student Affairs leaders to provide oversight of advising and student support, athletics, enrollment services, financial aid, K-12 programs, outreach, student life and conduct, and the Woodrick Center for Inclusion and Multicultural Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Strategic Enrollment Management Steering Committee and related programming and initiatives.
  • Develop policies and processes for Student Affairs-related programs and services.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support for all departments within Student Affairs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate student affairs with academics and other areas.
  • Develop and implement assessment plans for delivery of services.
  • Ensure equity and inclusion in all student affairs efforts.
  • Investigate and recommend effective methods of service to support student success and retention.
  • Develop relationships and facilitate partnerships with K-12, higher education, and community organizations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Provost.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Three years of progressive student affairs leadership experience.
  • Experience in enrollment management and financial aid oversight.
  • Experience working in a collective bargaining environment.
  • Community college experience.
