Job Summary:

This position serves as a key leader in student misconduct resolution at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, overseeing both academic and non-academic misconduct cases. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, training, and support to the student misconduct hearing committee members, ensuring a fair and educational process for all parties involved.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and participate in the investigation, adjudication, and processing of conduct cases, providing guidance and support to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Serve as a resource and advisor, clarifying procedures and options available to faculty, staff, students, and student hearing boards in response to student behaviors.
  • Facilitate the reporting of student complaints, conduct preliminary investigations, and organize conduct hearings to resolve student conduct cases.
  • Ensure that student conduct is administered in a fair, impartial, non-adversarial, restorative, and educational manner through the recruitment and training of conduct officers and the hearing board.
  • Represent Student Affairs on campus committees, initiatives, and events as requested, demonstrating a commitment to social justice and inclusive excellence.
