Job Summary

The Membership Sales Representative delivers exceptional customer service to all members and guests, promoting Life Time Fitness to prospective members and contributing to the achievement of club acquisition and retention goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the check-in process for members and guests entering the club
  • Monitor and handle incoming phone calls from members and guests, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of club programming, events, pricing, and policies to educate members and guests
  • Build relationships with members and guests, creating personalized service experiences
  • Assist members with account maintenance, processing transactions, and resolving issues
  • Collaborate with the Certified Retention Team to assist members requesting to cancel their membership
  • Engage in service recovery for member questions and concerns, utilizing tools and resources to find solutions
  • Customize the buying experience for prospective members, aligning amenities and programs with their interests and needs
  • Communicate with members and prospective members in a manner aligned with the Life Time Fitness brand
  • Complete administrative duties, club paperwork, and cash drawer reconciliation
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-year customer service experience
  • Minimum of 1-year sales experience
  • Completion of Membership Sales Certification within 60 days of hire
  • Completion of Retention Specialist Certification within 60 days of hire
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or related field
  • Fitness industry knowledge
