Research Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scholar to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. The successful candidate will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to engineer a new imaging platform for bioluminescent detection and develop Python-based code for phasor spectral emission detection.

Key Responsibilities

The postdoctoral scholar will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing new imaging approaches for bioluminescent detection
  • Designing and optimizing Python-based code for phasor spectral emission detection
  • Collaborating with our team to integrate new imaging approaches with existing bioluminescence reporters and imaging techniques
  • Presenting research findings at national and international conferences


Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in optics, biophysics, biophotonics, biomedical engineering, or a related field, as well as experience in computational imaging analysis.
