Surgical Technologist II Role Overview

At Quality Talent Group, we are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Possess advanced knowledge of surgical techniques and anticipate the required instrumentation for each step of a surgical procedure.
* Serve as a resource person for specialty cases and demonstrate working knowledge of specialty equipment.
* Assist in the orientation of new staff members and provide guidance on scrub roles in the operating room.

Requirements:

* High school graduate or GED equivalent.
* Associate degree in Allied Health or equivalent combination of education and clinical experience preferred.
* Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
* Certification in specialty as Surgical Technologist required.
* Current CPR Certification required.

Work Schedule:

* Full-Time, 7a - 3:30p. Call and weekends may be required depending on staffing vacancies and vacations.
