Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to serve as a Building Monitor for the College of Engineering & Mines. This part-time, non-benefited position is ideal for students looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular building walks to ensure the safety and security of the complex
  • Document observations and report any maintenance or cleaning issues to the supervisor
  • Respond to disturbances or safety violations in a timely and professional manner
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise
Requirements
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of safety policies and procedures
  • Enrollment in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
  • Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check
