The Registered Nurse (RN) I in the Ortho Spine unit provides essential nursing care for orthopedic patients, ensuring their health needs are systematically assessed and addressed. This involves collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers to implement care, evaluate outcomes, and manage discharge planning.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing, a current RN license, and preferably experience in the healthcare field. Additionally, they should have strong assessment and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Previous experience in healthcare field preferred
  • Licensure/Certification Requirements:
    • Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or active Multistate RN license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining required during orientation prior to providing patient care
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
