Job Description

The Capture Manager is a key role within our Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company, a global leader in mission-critical hardware and systems solutions. This position is responsible for creating winning product and program solutions in response to new business opportunities that align with our market segment's long-term growth strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer needs and translate them into a compelling value proposition that supports our company's objectives.
  • Recommend technical and business investments to executive leadership to support market segment growth.
  • Provide technical and programmatic input to assist Market Segment Leadership in new business pursue/no pursue decisions.
  • Lead the development of winning proposals that meet company objectives in terms of schedule, risk, and GM% opportunity.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to obtain critical information and enhance our Position to Win.
  • Lead internal activities related to assigned IRAD and proposal capture opportunities, planning and managing the work of assigned technical teams.
Requirements:
  • BS Degree in an engineering discipline is required, MBA preferred.
  • Ten years of experience in Engineering, Project or Program Management in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
  • Able to use written and oral communication to create compelling arguments.
  • Demonstrated high-quality team leadership and motivational skills.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management.
  • Understanding of risk management, technical design, and manufacturing processes.
Preferred Skills:
  • Demonstrated negotiation and value-pricing experience.
