About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team at AdventHealth Bolingbrook. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for x-rays and select exposure factors accurately.
  • Administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Observe patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity.
  • Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred.
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiology Technician credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Previous experience preferred.
