Job Description:

Base Aviation Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our team at Air Evac Lifeteam. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our helicopters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors, and appliances.
  • Support the daily maintenance of the helicopters at our base.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of helicopter maintenance experience.
  • Valid and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • Valid and current FAA Inspection Authorization preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs.
