Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
- Carefully unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, placing them in designated storage areas.
- Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
- Handle collections and payments from customers as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repeatedly during each shift.
Comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old and registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
- Possess a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence, along with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
- Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months in food and/or beverage delivery.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is preferred, depending on location.
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English, including understanding traffic signs and responding to inquiries.
