Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support, while also driving sales and revenue growth for our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner, following our company's meet and greet standards.
    • Schedule appointments using our dealership-approved forms and software.
    • Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem(s).
    • Call customers to inform them of changes in service, to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up, or to give them progress updates if service is not complete.
  • Estimating and Sales
    • Provide customers with fair estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenance.
    • Consult with mechanics about necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive work.
    • Give customers options for repairs and maintenance, including extended warranty options.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service work performed.
    • Support promotional activities and sales initiatives.
    • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that necessary parts and supplies are available.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school degree or equivalent.
    • Five plus years of progressive experience in auto service.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Basic computer skills and knowledge of dealership software.
