About the Opportunity

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Coronary Care Unit. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and be part of a dynamic healthcare team.

Job Summary

This position involves providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans
Requirements
  • Graduate Nurse with a Temporary Practice Permit or currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment
  • AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
