We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Kmc Hi. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health.
Key Responsibilities- Administer prophylactic treatments, including scaling and polishing of teeth, to maintain patients' oral health.
- Document areas of existing restorations and notable areas of possible decay and disease for review by the dentist.
- Oversee instrument sterilization and ensure the competency of peers in running sterilization processes.
- Take x-rays to determine the extent of any decay or disease.
- Administer fluoride treatment as needed and update patients' medical histories.
- Instruct patients in oral hygiene techniques and provide relevant educational information.
- Practice universal precautions and other sterilization/infection control procedures.
- Maintain equipment and provide associated administrative support, including patient documentation and record-keeping.
- Degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Certification in administration of local anesthesia.
- 1-year of dental office experience (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
