About Us

At GuideWell Emergency Doctors, we're dedicated to providing patient-centered care through evidence-based medicine. Our board-certified ER physicians practice autonomously to deliver high-quality healthcare to every patient, resulting in lower ER visits, hospital admissions, and costs.

Responsibilities:
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment to provide accurate treatment to patients of all ages with mild to moderate medical complaints.
  • Perform thorough physical exams, interpret diagnostic testing results, and generate quality treatment plans.
  • Write prescriptions, perform typical Emergency Room procedures, and arrange follow-up care as needed.
  • Act as a strong resource for mid-level providers and provide quality patient care while maintaining a door-to-provider time of less than 30 minutes.
  • Utilize critical thinking and in-house protocols to avoid unnecessary admissions and support the meeting of facility-specific metrics.
  • Know and practice organizational values, utilize organizational software, and support the Facility Leader and Medical Director.
Requirements:
  • Five or more years of recent experience working in an Emergency Room setting.
  • State MD or DO license, Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Active DEA License, and ACLS certification.
  • Clear and active FL license, successfully credentialed within each facility, and able to pass a Level 2 background screen and drug test.
  • Able to perform duties in a busy medical environment, stand and work up to 12 hours, and legibly write, clearly speak, and proficiently read English.
