About Us

At GuideWell Emergency Doctors, we're dedicated to providing patient-centered care through evidence-based medicine. Our board-certified ER physicians practice autonomously to deliver high-quality healthcare to every patient, resulting in lower ER visits, hospital admissions, and costs.

Responsibilities:
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment to provide quality medical care to patients of all ages with mild to moderate medical complaints.
  • Accurately treat patients with a range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to more complex cases.
  • Perform thorough physical exams, including H&P and physical exams, to diagnose and treat patients effectively.
  • Make quality medical decisions based on patient needs and medical evidence.
  • Accurately interpret diagnostic testing results, including lab, imaging, and EKG results, to inform treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including prescribing medications and performing procedures as needed.
  • Provide quality patient care while maintaining a door-to-provider time of less than 30 minutes.
  • Support the Facility Leader and Medical Director by being a positive team player and contributing to the success of the facility.
Requirements:
  • Five or more years of recent experience working in an Emergency Room setting.
  • Must hold a State MD or DO license, Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM), and an active DEA License.
  • Must have ACLS certification and a clear and active FL license.
  • Must be successfully credentialed within each facility performing shifts and able to pass a Level 2 background screen and drug test.
  • Able to perform the duties expected for an active role in a busy medical environment, including standing, walking, and lifting.
